TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Taster Session
Any potential new member is welcome to try a ‘taster session’ (without obligation) to see if they would like to join Little Belters. Taster sessions can be booked through our website –
Choir Membership
The Membership fee is split into 12 affordable payments; therefore, fees are still due during school holidays. These fees are taken out on the first of every month.
Refunds
If a choir rehearsal has to be cancelled, for example due to teacher illness, we will try our best to arrange an alternative date but if this is not possible refunds will be made.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones should be turned off during rehearsals and concerts. Eating during rehearsals is not permitted but children are allowed to bring a bottle of water into the rehearsal room.
Photo Permissions
Only photos and videos of a child taken in rehearsals can be used for marketing and publicity purposes if permission has been granted when registering. Little Belters cannot be held responsible for any photos or videos taken by a third party at public performances.
Concert Attendance
You will need to confirm your child’s attendance in writing.
Behaviour
Any form of negative, abusive or unacceptable behaviour will result in cancellation of membership without refund. Including negative comment or behaviour towards Little Belters staff and members.
Health and Safety
· The Health and Safety of the members of Little Belters is paramount. Whilst Little Belters carries full insurance and each venue is risk assessed it is the responsibility of every member to act responsibly and not risk the health and safety of themselves and others.
· It is the responsibility of the parent of a member to make Little Belters staff aware of any relevant health issue or otherwise that their child has that may hinder their performance at rehearsals and concerts.
· It is particularly important that any allergies of any sort be reported to the choir leader before the child joins the choir.
· Little Belters is not responsible for loss or damage of the personal effects of members during rehearsals, performances or social events.
Little Belters cannot be held financially responsible for injury or damage caused by a member’s misconduct or inappropriate behaviour.
Equality and Diversity
Little Belters embraces equality, diversity and inclusivity of its members and every endeavour is made to accommodate those with health issues, disabilities or mobility problems.
It is our intention to create an environment that is safe, fun and nurturing for all and request that if any member has any concerns regarding this, that they, or their parent/guardian talk to the choir leader or volunteers about their concerns at the nearest opportunity.
If there is an issue or concern unrelated to Little Belters that you feel may have an impact on how we care for your child during a choir rehearsal (issues at school/home etc.) please let us know in person or via email.
Any information given to the choir leader, volunteer or director of Little Belters will be treated confidentially and not divulged to other parents or children under any circumstances.
